6. Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA 2) is for highway use only and can help keep the vehicle centered in its lane while maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle ahead. Lane markings must be clearly visible on the road. HDA 2 should not be used in poor weather, heavy or varying traffic, or on winding or slippery roads. HDA 2 will not work under all circumstances and will not prevent loss of control. Driver remains responsible to slow or stop the vehicle to avoid a collision. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations.
7. Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) assists the driver in changing lanes by providing a live view of the blind spots on either side of the vehicle and an audible alert if another vehicle is detected. Turn signal must be activated, and other system limitations apply. Do not rely exclusively on BVM. It is the driver’s responsibility to be aware of the surroundings and ensure it is clear before changing lanes or directions. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations.
8. Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) helps the driver by warning of other cars in the blind spot region and can apply braking to help prevent an unsafe lane change. It senses the rear side territory of the vehicle when it is traveling over 37 mph. There are limitations to the function, range, detection and clarity of the system. It will not detect all vehicles or objects in the blind spot. Its operation depends on the size, distance, angle and relative speed difference between your car and other cars. BCA may not operate if sensors are obscured in any way. Do not rely exclusively on BCA. BCA is a supplemental system, and the driver must still be attentive and exercise caution when driving. It is important to always signal, look over your shoulder and through your mirrors before changing lanes. It is the driver’s responsibility to be aware of the surroundings and ensure it is clear before changing lanes or directions. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations.
9. Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) is designed to notify drivers of approaching cross traffic behind their vehicle. When another vehicle is detected while you are backing out of a parking spot, it provides audible and visual display warnings and applies braking if it senses a collision is imminent. RCCA is active when the vehicle is in reverse gear and backing at a speed less than 6 mph. It only engages during the first activation of reverse gear from park and may not detect all vehicles, depending on the size, angle, distance and speed of the other vehicle. Never rely exclusively on RCCA. Always look over your shoulder and use your mirrors to confirm rear clearance. There are limitations to the function, detection, range and clarity of the system. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations.
10. Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (N-SCC) with Stop & Go and Curve Control can help automatically adjust vehicle speed when driving on highways by using road information from the navigation system. N-SCC only operates on main roads of select highways and does not operate at interchanges or junctions. N-SCC should not be used in poor weather, heavy or varying traffic, on winding or slippery roads, or if the navigation system is not working properly. N-SCC is a driver convenience feature and not a collision avoidance or warning device. Driver remains responsible for checking the speed limit and distance to the vehicle ahead, steering the vehicle and slowing or stopping the vehicle to avoid a collision. 11. Lane Following Assist 2 can help keep the vehicle centered in its lane only when the lane markings are clearly visible on the road. Lane Following Assist 2 will not work under all circumstances and will not prevent loss of control. Lane Following Assist 2 is a supplemental assist, and does not replace the need for extreme care and attention by the driver. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

13. Genesis Complimentary Scheduled Maintenance is available to original owners of new 2017 and newer model year Genesis vehicles and includes Genesis-approved oil and oil filter change (except for electric vehicles), multi-point inspection, and tire rotation at factory recommended scheduled intervals for 3 years or 36,000 miles from the date of first use, whichever comes first. 14. New Vehicle Limited Warranty covers repair or replacement of any component manufactured or originally installed by Genesis that is defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance. The following components are covered for time and mileage limits indicated:  
    Paint: 3 years/36,000 miles
    Battery: 3 years/36,000 miles (no proration)
    Air conditioner refrigerant charge: 1 year/unlimited miles
    Adjustments: 1 year/12,000 miles

15. Powertrain Limited Warranty covers repair or replacement of powertrain components (i.e., selected engine and transmission/transaxle components), originally manufactured or installed by Genesis that are defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance. Coverage applies to original owner only. Second and/or subsequent owners have powertrain components coverage under the 5-Year/60,000-Mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty. 16. Genesis Connected Services, including automatic collision notification, roadside assistance, SOS voice calling, and vehicle care features are available complimentary for 2023 and newer model-year vehicles. Remote and Guidance features, including remote start, guidance, and destination search are complimentary. Enrollment and active subscription are required. Only use Genesis Connected Services and corresponding devices when it is safe to do so. Cellular and GPS coverage is required. Exclusions may apply. Genesis Connected Services rely on digital wireless telecommunications technology outside of Genesis’s control. 17. Digital smartphone key requires a compatible smartphone and an appropriately equipped Genesis vehicle. Not all smartphones are compatible. 18. Genesis Roadside Assistance is a limited and complimentary service for 5 years/unlimited miles from date of first use. Coverage is effective from the date the vehicle is delivered to the first retail buyer, or otherwise put into service (in-service date), whichever is earlier.     Roadside Assistance is not a warranty and does not include reimbursement for any costs/charges for repairs, parts, labor, property loss, or any other expenses incurred as a result of accident/collision, vehicle abuse, racing, vandalism, or other items not covered by the Genesis New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Also excluded are services for snow tires, repairs to studs, mounting or demounting of snow chains, any fines, fees, or taxes associated with impound towing as a result of any actual or alleged violation of any law or regulation. Off-roading is not covered. To receive service the vehicle must be on a publicly maintained road.

    Roadside Assistance services are provided through the American Automobile Association, Inc., Heathrow, FL, and its affiliated motor clubs (collectively, “AAA”), which are independent contractors of Genesis Motor America (“Genesis”). Genesis makes no guarantee or warranty regarding the services provided by AAA and is not liable for the actions of their employees or subcontractors. Genesis reserves the right to limit services or reimbursement to any owner/driver when, in Genesis’ judgment, the claims are excessive in nature, frequency or type of occurrence.

19. Genesis Pay is available on select 2021-2027 model year Genesis models. Requires Genesis Intelligent Assistant mobile app and an active Genesis Connected Services (GCS) account, subject to the Connected Services Terms and Conditions.
